Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley Race Course set a new record last month as players pumped $90,612,990 into the video lottery terminals there.

That number represents the largest amount of credits played in any month since the racino opened in September, 2014.

The numbers represents the fifth consecutive monthly increase since November, when play dipped to $72 million.

Figures released by the Ohio Lottery Commission on Monday show that players won $8,969,129 last month, which also set a record for the Austintown gaming venue.

Over the past ten months, players have won $713 million.

The commission said that the 940 VLT's paid out an average of 90.1% in April.

Out of the net winnings, the Ohio Lottery collected $3,004,658, while Hollywood Gaming owner Penn National collected $5,934,649 last month.
