A building in Newton Falls that has been vacant for a couple of years will see new life later this year, and it means residents won't have drive as far for their hardware needs.

City Manager Jack Haney tells 21 News that Busy Beaver has announced its intention to move a building center into the former Pamida/Shopko property on South Milton Boulevard.

Busy Beaver operates 16 home improvement centers in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.

It's nice to see people willing to invest in the community,” Haney tells 21 News.

Haney expects Busy Beaver to move in by the end of the year after renovating the existing building.
