A Trumbull County family of five was forced from their home after it went up in flames Saturday morning.

Police say a fire spread from the porch to the home on Warner Road in Johnston Township just before 3 a.m. The family's trailer then caught fire as well as their car.

Everyone was able to make it out safely, but the house is a total loss. There is no word on the damage of the vehicles.

Police say there was a lot of ammunition in the house which started to go off.

The fire was put out by 3:30 a.m.

Officials believe the fire started from a heat lamp.

Red Cross was called in to assist the family.
