Warren man killed in head on Market Street crash

A Warren man was killed after a head on crash around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Warren City Police say Ronald Walker, 67, died after the East Market Street collision.
According to the crash report, Walker’s vehicle went left-of-center and struck another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
The driver and passenger of the other car were injured and transported to Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
The passenger, a juvenile, was later taken by helicopter to Akron Children’s Hospital.
Walker was also taken by ambulance to Trumbull Memorial where he was pronounced dead.
Police say only the airbag in Walker’s car was deployed, and no one in the crash was wearing a seat belt.
The cause of the crash is currently unknown, but according to the report, alcohol and/or drugs are not yet suspected.
