A cleanup is underway after a vacant building suddenly collapsed in a Warren neighborhood.
Residents living near the corner of Palmyra and Parkman Roads told police that the front of a building fell to the ground Wednesday afternoon.
The former apartment building and beauty shop has been vacant for years.
Councilwoman Cheryl Saffold says that the land and the condemned building has been donated to the Trumbull County Landbank.
The fire department inspected the rubble to make sure that there was no danger posed by exposed utility lines. The rest of the building was demolished Wednesday evening.
