The Ohio State Highway Patrol says one person was seriously injured in a head on crash in the Township at around 4 p.m. Thursday.
Troopers say a Chevy Trailblazer driven by 42-year-old Brian Rossi of Burghill went completely left of center on Orangeville Kinsman Road north of Route 88, and ran into a Chevy Silverado driven by 67-year-old John Gilmore of Greenville, Pennsylvania.
Gilmore, who was trapped in his vehicle for nearly an hour, was flown by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries.
Rossi, along with two children aged 11 and 7 who were passengers in the Trailblazer, were
also
taken to St. Elizabeth hospital
for treatment of injuries authorities say are not life threatening.
Rossi was the only person involved in the crash who was not wearing a seat belt.
The crash remains under investigation.
