The Warren Police Department will have more help on the streets thanks to the newest graduates of the Citizen's Police Academy. 

For eight weeks students learned about the law and how to observe trouble in their neighborhoods, all in a effort to help the city. 

"This way, by them knowing what's going on, what to look for, who to contact, they can better help the community," said Sergeant Geoffrey Fusco of the Warren Police Department. Adding, "[The students] learn that you can't be afraid, don't be afraid to call the police. We're here to help."

Participants in the academy also had the chance to go on tours with the Warren police and the Trumbull County Sheriff.
