The Youngstown State University baseball team has a date with Indiana in the first round of the NCAA baseball tournament.

The Penguins play at the Hoosiers, Friday at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN3. Also in the bracket are Indiana State and Stanford.

The Penguins enter the tournament with a 16-36 record and are in the tournament for the second time in school history.

Second year coach Steve Gillispie said, "The last two weeks of the regular season and the Horizon League tournament is a true indication of what type of team we are."

Gillispie says for the first half of the season they had to play through a multitude of injuires, and a few of those guys are back.

The first round of the tournament is double elimination.
