STRUTHERS, Ohio - A suspect in Thursday morning's homicide in Struthers has waived extradtion from Pennsylvania.
Investigators say the body of 34-year-Matt Molnar was found around 3:00 a.m. inside his home on the 100 block of Renee drive. Authorities say Molnar had been shot.
Police learned of the shooting after Matthew Alexander appeared at the Farrell, Pennsylvania police department, claiming he had been involved in a shooting in Struthers.
A neighbor tells 21 News that she heard a commotion outside her home at about 2:30 a.m. She said her neighbor and another man were engaged in an argument that continued as the two men went inside the house.
At that point the neighbor says she heard "boom, boom." She says at the time she didn't think it sounded like gunshots.
Alexander will be brought back to Ohio to face charges in court.
