HUBBARD, Ohio - The Hubbard Board of Education is expected to choose a familiar face when it selects a new superintendent at it's Thursday night meeting.

Board President Don Newell tells 21 News that Ray Soloman is expected to receive the board's approval.

Soloman, who has been principal at the elementary school for eight years, an assistant principal for three years, and a teacher for one year. 

The board has been searching for a replacement for Richard Buchenic, who is retiring as superintendent. 

The school board meeting is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. at the board room.
