MERCER, Pa. - The mother of a Mercer county child who choked to death in a school cafeteria is suing the school's food service provider.
Amber Mattocks' daughter, Aizeya, died two days after choking on a hot dog last February.
Mattocks is suing AVI Food Systems for negligence, wrongful death and vicarious liability.
The suit claims that more than 10,000 children under the age of 14 choke on hot dogs every year and that they should not have been served in the cafeteria.
