AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Former boxer Kelly Pavlik is scheduled to appear in Austintown court on Wednesday to answer a charge of operating a vehicle under the influence.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol tells 21 News they pulled Pavlik over on the Ohio Turnpike in Jackson Township early Monday after receiving a call that a car fitting a description of Pavliks was being driven by a possibly impaired driver.

Troopers say Pavlik refused to submit to a field sobriety test or blood alcohol test.

In 2011, Pavlik was cited for DUI, but that charge was dismissed and he pleaded guilty to failing to control his vehicle and failing to report an accident.
