Troopers blame speed and icy road for traffic death of Warren woman

MESOPOTAMIA TOWNSHIP, - Ohio State troopers say unsafe speed for the condition of the road was a factor in a traffic crash in northern Trumbull County.
The Ohio Highway Patrol says that a car and a minivan collided just on State Route 87 west of State Route 534 at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The OSP report says that 26-year-old Brandi Miller of Warren was killed when her Pontiac Grand Am slid left of center, and was struck by an oncoming Dodge Caravan driven by 32 year old Katrina Port of Dorset, Ohio.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene. Port was taken to a hospital with injuries that troopers say are not life threatening.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
