Documentary film shows the city of Warren in a different light
But two local men set out to show the city in a more positive light.

WARREN, Ohio - Recent shootings and other threats of violence have plagued the city of Warren over the last month.
But two local men set out to show the city in a more positive light.
Thursday night at the Hippodrome in Warren about 200 people came to watch the debut of "Warren, the Re-telling."
It's a documentary about the best things Warren has to offer. The two men shot the 45 minute video because they thought the overall negative perception of the city was just wrong.
"We got sick and tired of the negatives of the city and the perceptions outside of the area people outside Warren I decided there needed to be positive outlooks out there," says Tom Ross of Clear Choice Creative.
They interviewed dozens of people, including business owners, politicians and just common Warren citizens about the positive aspects of the city.
They say many people talked about their love for courthouse square and then went on from there.
"They also love the history, the people..everyone says the community of Warren is tight knit they help everyone out. It was just nice to hear," says Brad Kolasinksi.
"There's a lot of little things that are positive that are happening in the city that are going unnoticed you have small little groups and small business owners and small little things happening people might here small things happening but I think as a collective, as a collective things are good," says Ross.
The finished documentary will be made available online in the near future, according to its makers.
It will be found at the website: www.warrendocumentary.com.
