Strike ends at Austintown beverage distributor

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -Union members vote to end their strike of beverage distributor R.L. Lipton.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Union members vote to end their strike of beverage distributor R.L. Lipton.

Secretary and Treasurer of Teamsters Local 3-77 Sam Cook tells 21 news that members accepted a modified wage agreement during voting this afternoon.

They'll return to work on Monday.

Workers went on strike on June 26.

The beverage distribution company serves the Mahoning Valley and Ashtabula County. According to the company's web site, R.L. Lipton distributes products for Buddies, Monster Energy Drinks and Dad's Root beer.
