BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania - A week after her family reported her missing, a young Beaver Township woman is found murdered in Crawford County Pennsylvania.

Twenty-year old Brandy Stevens was last seen May 17th when she left her grandparents home in Beaver Township to drive to a friend's home in Cocharnton, Pennsylvania near Meadville.

After not hearing from her for two days, the grandparents reported her as a missing and endangered person due to her being diabetic.

On Thursday, Pennsylvania State Police went to the friend's home in Cochranton, where they found Brandy's car in a garage. Upon a further search of the area, troopers discovered the young woman's body in a shallow grave near the residence.

Two young women at the home were questioned and state police say both admitted to their role in killing Brandy and burying her body.

Eighteen-year old Jade Olmstead and 20- year old Ashley Barber are charged with criminal homicide, conspiracy to commit homicide and tampering with evidence.

Brandy's mother says the girls were friends and she just can't understand. "For somebody to do that to somebody that you know, also to do that to somebody that you know has a family that loves her," said Carrie Sue Rosine, the victim's mother.

Beaver Township police say they have records of previous disputes between Olmstead and Brandy as recently as last year."Pushing each other around. They had been staying together at Brandy's grandparent's house. They got into a little dispute, accused each other of taking stuff and pushing each other," said Beaver Townshi[ Police Chief Carl Frost.

But Brandy's mother believes the two girls were still very close.

Brandy was attending Youngstown State University and her mother says her many friends are remembering her as a loving and generous person.

The two suspects are being held in the Crawford County jail without bond.

Police have released no motive for the killing.

Services for Brandy Stevens will be at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home in Canfield on Saturday from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
