Mercer County counts ballots, declares unofficial results
MERCER COUNTY, Pennsylvania - In Mercer County, nearly 790 absentee ballots were added to last week's election results, deciding who will be the third county commissioner and the next common pleas judge.

MERCER COUNTY, Pennsylvania - In Mercer County, nearly 790 absentee ballots were added to last week's election results, deciding who will be the third county commissioner and the next common pleas judge.
The unofficial results have incumbent Republican John Lechner winning by a difference of 26 votes over Democratic candidate Timothy Templeton.
Republican Matt McConnell leads with 25 percent of the votes and Incumbent Democrat Brian Beader is second with 23 percent of the votes.
In the race for common pleas court judge, Democratic candidate Robert Yeats is winning by 308 votes over Republican Peter Acker.
Final results are scheduled to be certified at the end of the month.
