HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Ohio - An eight month investigation has determined a possible cause for a natural gas explosion that was seen for miles around Columbiana County.
Officials of the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company believe February's blast in Hanover Township occurred when gas leaked from a pipeline joint that failed because of stress.
Company officials say the section of the pipe has been replaced and pressure tested.
