Animal Welfare League looking for help to care for rescued animals
TRUMBULL COUNTY, Ohio - Animal rescue officials are putting out a call for help. They are asking for experienced animal handlers and groomers to come forward.

TRUMBULL COUNTY, Ohio - Animal rescue officials are putting out a call for help. They are asking for experienced animal handlers and groomers to come forward.
Officials need help caring for the more than one hundred animals that were rescued from deplorable conditions at a Gustavus Township sanctuary on Friday.
The Animal Welfare League in Trumbull County needs help cleaning and caring for the animals. There are 162 dogs, just under 20 cats, two horses and other animals in need of vet care, cleaning and housing.
Anyone with experience grooming and handling, or local kennels who could foster the animals are asked to call the Animal Welfare League at 330-394-3512.
Donations of money, food, blankets, sheets and towels are also needed.
